PCI Security Standards Council Releases Version 2.0 of the Security Standard

The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) has announced version 2.0 of the PCI-DSS and PA-DSS standards. Reflecting input from the Council’s global stakeholders, this latest version does not introduce any new major requirements, but does modify language of the standard in order to clarify the meaning of the requirements and make understanding and adoption easier for merchants.
